Respect for Intellectual Property

Gmatador upholds a strong respect for intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and related rights. All original content on our website—such as images, designs, graphics, text, logos, product titles, and branding—belongs either to Gmatador or to their rightful third-party owners and is protected under applicable U.S. and international IP laws.

Your notice must include the following:

1. A detailed description of the copyrighted work or trademark being infringed, and the exact location (URL or product title) of the allegedly infringing content on our site.
2. Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
3. A statement declaring that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is unauthorized by the intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law.
4. A statement confirming that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the IP owner.
5. A physical or electronic signature of the IP owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.

This process aligns with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other relevant laws.

Investigation and Response

Once a properly formatted notice is received:

• We will promptly investigate the claim.
• If the material appears to infringe IP rights, we will remove or disable access to it.
• If the content was user-submitted (where applicable), we may notify the responsible party, who may have the opportunity to issue a counter-notification under DMCA provisions.
• We will cooperate with rightful IP holders and legal authorities as needed.

Repeat Infringements & Account Termination

For websites or systems that allow user accounts, repeat IP infringement by the same user may result in account suspension or termination at our sole discretion. While Gmatador is not an open publishing platform, any repeated abuse of third-party IP (e.g., by suppliers) will be handled accordingly.

False Claims Warning

Knowingly submitting false claims of IP infringement is a serious matter and may result in legal consequences, including damages, under Section 512(f) of the DMCA or other applicable laws.
